Testing the Miller DS-10 Tripod
I took out the Miller DS-10 tripod for a test drive this am after a fresh dusting of snow last night. All shot on the Canon 5DMKII with a 24-70L f2.8 and ND filters.
The head is very smooth once motion begins and I like the drag/feel of it. The 75mm ball leveling head is also fantastic on the Miller DS-10. It's fast and east to get the head leveled when working in uneven terrain. The carbon fiber sticks are incredibly durable, sturdy, super light and easy to change the height. One of the things I like most is the ability for the legs to snap fully open, allowing you to put the camera just 9 inches off the ground without compromising stability.
